Revector helps mobile network operators investigate SIM Box/GSM Gateway fraud on their networks by identifying fraudulent activity and suspending the SIM cards associated with illegal bypass activity. Revector also provides anti fraud consultancy to help mobile network operators reduce fraud. Revector’s Locate & Eliminate product enables mobile network operators to pinpoint a specific building or a location from where fraud originates.

Fraud from SIM Box activity constitutes $4.6 billion across mobile networks according to the Communications Fraud Control Association. This represents a significant loss of revenue for mobile network operators, more expensive bills for mobile customers and poorer quality calls. A major concern is that revenue from SIM box fraud is used to fund major crime and illegal activity. Consequently, the cost is more than material and the impact on society is significant. By providing operators with a means to overcome this crime, Revector enables them to not only stop the revenue leakage but also seize equipment, make arrests and the resultant publicity also deters others.

P2i’s Aridion™ technology improves the reliability of electronic devices by providing protection from water damage with a liquid repellent nano-coating technology. The coating works to increase water repellency, so that on treated surfaces liquids simply form beads and roll off. This means a reduction in water ingress, corrosion, electrochemical migration and device failure. The patented liquid repellent process (originally designed to treat fabrics) has been validated in medium and high volume electronics manufacturing centres so that Aridion™ invisibly protects devices from the effects of water damage without impacting the look, feel or functionality of a mobile device.

Each year hundreds of millions of mobile devices are irreparably damaged by water. Often, these damages aren’t covered by insurance, leaving consumers out of pocket. For manufacturers, the application of a water repellent coating enables brands to distinguish their products from others and ensures that devices meet the standards set by service providers and carriers. By increasing the water repellent rating, or increasing the reliability of the devices, these manufactures are able to increase their access to more demanding carriers, and open markets which demand increased reliability of electronic devices in respect of humid climates. Aridion™ is already applied to over a million phones and has over a hundred nano-coating systems in manufacturing centres across the globe. Research and development will build on the platform technology to provide further functional coatings such as anti-scratch, anti-bacterial and anti-stain.
