The Process
Smart UK Project’s search for the UK’s Most Innovative Mobile Company begins on 14th November when entries open.
The deadline for entries is 21st December 2011 at 5.30pm GMT.
The Shortlist
After this date the judging panel will choose 20 companies that will be the initial shortlist. These companies will all receive a place at UKTI’s pre-Mobile World Congress media event in January. This event was attended last year by more than 30 leading media outlets and generated publicity for companies in trade, national and international media outlets such as the BBC and The Times.
Companies on the shortlist will also receive media training as part of the package. After the pre-Mobile World Congress media event, the judges will decide on a final list of six companies. Each company will be a finalist in UKs Most Innovative Mobile Company.
The Finalists
These companies will receive presentation training. They will be able to use the “UK’s Most Innovative Mobile Company – Finalist” logo on all publicity and they will be invited to Mobile World Congress 2012. They will also receive additional media exposure.
During the UKTI programme of activities at Mobile World Congress each finalist will present to the judging panel. After this one of the finalist will be crowned UK’s Most Innovative Mobile Company, receiving the award at the event.
The Winner
As well as being able to use the title ‘UK’s Most Innovative Mobile Company’ the winner will receive a day’s consultancy on Brand Development and User Experience from TheAlloy, one of the leading product and experience design companies in the UK. The winner will also receive a showcase place at the prestigious ICT day, Lancaster House, London on the 3 August 2012. UKTI will be utilising Lancaster House, as the British Business Embassy, to host their Games time business programme with global senior decision makers.
Make sure you enter the competition and give yourself the opportunity to become UK’s Most Innovative Mobile Company.
